One of the most special parts about being in business is getting to watch the Abby D. Photography family grow and grow. I absolutely love being able to welcome new couples to the calendar, and EVERY time it makes me feel so incredibly grateful and blessed that I get to photograph the most special day for such such kind, joyful, easy-going couples. Holly and Dakota fit this description perfectly and their sunset maternity session was magical! Their session took place on Mother’s Day weekend which is such a fitting time to celebrate this special milestone in their life!
Holly reached out to me early in her pregnancy about capturing not only their maternity session but also photographing their family after the baby is born and I was so excited! It’s so fun to get to watch couples become parents. There’s really nothing more special!Â
From the moment I met Holly and Dakota, I was struck by their kindness and sweet down-to-earth personalities. During the session, they were so willing to go along with anything I suggested (even photographing part of the session in front of a bank for a few beautiful portraits with a neutral background that really makes them the center of attention)! However, my favorite part of the session was getting to witness the way they love each other. It was so clear just how much love they both had for their baby boy already!
As soon as I got these two in front of my camera, I fell in love with photographing them! Holly is such an absolutely glowing momma already and paired with the most gorgeous golden light from the sunset… it was simply magical! I absolutely can not wait to meet their sweet baby boy so soon and photograph them as a family!
